CheckList before you distribute the tests

This check list has been prepared based on the experience of our users. We work with lot of limitations and trade offs and knowing them before hand will help you provide the best experience to your candidates.

Please ensure you go through them before distributing tests with Form Timer.

Test Test Test

This is the most important recommendation.Google form has many question types. Please test the question types you are expected to use in the real test .

Test the Environment ( it could be mobile ,or special device or your specific office network) )and login experience. Provide them as best practices to your candidates before you start the test.

This is one of the reasons we give more free tests .

Use "Continue after timeout" settings

Many a times we get emails from form owners and candidates that the test got over before submitting the form.Unfortunately we can't auto submit the form because of technical limitations.Which means we have to live with this limitation.

There are two ways to address this issue.

Give Candidates Unlimited time (Preferred) :This can be done by using "Continue after timeout" set up .You can always track which candidates finished on time and which candidates took more time.

Help Candidates with Warnings before time is up: There is a little icon in the right corner of the test page that says "beep within 1 minute". When candidates select that a small sound is played within 1 minute that can serve as a reminder to submit the form. However, it will not work if the candidate has muted the computer.
